StageStrike digiTop – Meter Bridge Shelf

A flat, stable shelf for consoles that never gave you one.

Modern digital desks are built around faders and screens, with sloped surfaces and curved meter bridges. There's nowhere level to put a laptop, iPad or shoutbox at working height, so it ends up balanced on a road case or taped somewhere it shouldn't be.

The StageStrike digiTop sits on your console's meter bridge and gives you a solid 9 × 9 inch platform right where you need it. Each version has legs cut to match one specific console's meter bridge, so it sits firmly without any straps, clamps or tools. Nothing attaches to the console and nothing is modified; it goes on and comes off in seconds.

Highlights

• 9 × 9 inch flat platform, the same on every version
• Legs profiled to your specific console's meter bridge
• Tool-free: no straps, clamps or console modifications
• Supports fold flat, so it fits in a backpack, rack drawer or console case lid
• Holds a laptop, tablet, shoutbox or a single nearfield
• Used by monitor and RF engineers on major international tours

Choosing the right version

• Avid: S6L
• Allen & Heath: dLive C series, dLive S series, Avantis Solo, SQ series, and SQ Rack (for rack-mounted SQ desks; accounts for the 11.4° angle)
• Waves: LV1 Classic
• Yamaha: DM7 (one version fits DM7, DM7 EX, DM7 Compact and DM7 EX Compact). Not suitable for the DM7 Control, which is too narrow.
• DiGiCo: Quantum 112, Quantum 225, Quantum 326/338, Quantum 852 and SD5

One or two?

One digiTop gives you a single working surface, enough for a laptop or tablet. Order two for two working zones, or for nearfields on both sides of the desk.

Note: the manufacturer designed the digiTop at engineers' request but does not endorse placing loads on top of a mixing console. Use with care.
